What is Taking Action?

Taking Action is the California Coalition for Youth’s annual

conference that brings together youth, youth allies and youth-

serving programs for networking, education, and advocacy!

What is this year's conference theme?

This year's theme, Youth Creating Change, is a response to the

young people in California who are, have been, or are at risk of

becoming systemically disconnected, but have instead become

agents of change in their own lives, schools and communities. The

goal of this year's conference is to empower youth and youth allies

with strategies and methods to further create change!

impacting their own communities.
